- Huaneng output up 6% in 2006

HUANENG Power International, China's largest independent electricity provider, generated 6.24 percent more power in 2006, it said Wednesday.
Huaneng put out 159.9 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity last year, the firm said in a statement.
