- Central SOEs' overseas assets worth 758b yuan

THE assets of overseas subsidiaries of China's Central State-owned enterprises (SOEs) were worth 757.6 billion yuan (US$94.7 billion) at the end of 2006, according to the latest statistics from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. Revenue from their core business exceeded 400 billion yuan last year, while profits amounted to 87 billion yuan.
