- China National Coal eyes fast profit growth

CHINA National Coal Group Corp. is targeting a 29 percent rise in profit this year, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) said.
China National Coal aims to achieve a profit of 5.34 billion yuan and revenue of 53 billion yuan (US$6.82 billion) this year, according to a statement posted on the Web site of SASAC, which oversees 161 Central Government-controlled enterprises. In 2006, China National Coal posted profit of 4.13 billion yuan and revenue of 52 billion yuan, said a statement posted on the company's Web site.
