- Anhui Conch says earnings double

ANHUI Conch forecast yesterday that its unaudited 2006 net profit have more than doubled.
'Our company's earnings in the January-September period rose sharply, and our company kept making profits in the fourth quarter,'the cement maker said in a statement published in the Shanghai Securities News. 'Detailed figures for our 2006 earnings will be announced in our 2006 annual report,'it said. Anhui Conch is scheduled to report 2006 results March 28.
