- Oil distribution licenses issued

THE Ministry of Commerce issued the first batch of licenses for crude oil distribution and storage, a statement posted on its Web site said yesterday.
PetroChina Co., China Petroleum & Chemical Corp., or Sinopec Corp., CNOOC Refine & Petrochemical Co., Sinochem International Oil Co. and China Arts Huahai Import & Export Corp. have been granted licenses to distribute crude oil, according to the statement. With the licenses, these five companies can sell crude oil to other companies.
