- Sinopec to outsource lubricants production

CHINA Petroleum & Chemical Corp., or Sinopec, will outsource part of its lubricants production to Singapore companies AP Oil International and Italsing, the first such offshore lubricants move for Asia's largest oil refiner, the Straits Times newspaper reported Thursday.
The two Singapore companies will produce 5,000-7,000 metric tons a year for export under the Sinopec's subsidiary Sinopec Lubricant. No further details were available.
