THE country's coal output rose 15.7 percent year on year in January and February, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed Thursday.
Total domestic production in the first two months of this year was 316.82 million tons, the data showed. China regained its status as a net coal exporter on a monthly basis in February as coal exports exceeded imports totaling 3.93 million tons. China exported 4.42 million tons of coal in February, earlier data released by the customs bureau had showed.
