- PetroChina to sell unit stake

PETROCHINA Co. said yesterday it would sell all its 70 percent stake in an oil unit to controlling shareholder China National Petroleum Corp. for 1.01 billion yuan (US$130.6 million) cash.
PetroChina said in a statement it planned to sell the stake in China National United Oil Corp. because the group has no control over the operation of the unit, which is also 30 percent owned by State-owned Sinochem Corp.
