- Three oil firms to spin off units

THREE of China's largest oil companies are planning separate public offerings for their construction and engineering units that will raise as much as US$3 billion each, the South China Morning Post reported yesterday.
The first spinoffs by China Petroleum & Chemical Corp., China National Petroleum Corp. and China National Offshore Oil Corp. may come as early as this year, the newspaper said.
