The gold price in Hong Kong went up 44 HK dollars to 6,226 HK dollars per tael on Monday, according to the Bank of China (Hong Kong).
The price is equivalent to 671.23 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 4.95 U.S. dollars at Monday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.7860 HK dollars.
