The gold price in Hong Kong went up 48 HK dollars to 6,588 HK dollars per tael on Monday, according to the Bank of China (Hong Kong).
The price is equivalent to 710.81 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 5.32 U.S. dollars at Monday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.7800 HK dollars.
