EUROPEAN fashion retailer C&A said Friday it would enter China with four stores in Shanghai in 2007 and set up shop in Beijing next year, as it joins rivals Zara and H&M in the country's competitive US$1 trillion retail market.
'We want to be one of the leading fashion retailers in China,'said Sandra Dembeck, who is in charge of business development for C&A in the country. C&A, which counts itself among the world's four biggest fashion chains in terms of sales, will open the four Shanghai stores by end-September.
