SHANGHAI Stock Exchange is among several foreign stock exchanges seeking to buy equity stakes in the Over The Counter Exchange of India, the Business Standard reported yesterday, quoting unnamed sources.
Shanghai Stock Exchange is likely to buy a 5 percent stake at the Indian bourse that is aimed at small and medium enterprises, the report said. London Stock Exchange Plc.'s Alternative Investment Market and the Korea Exchange are also interested in stake purchases, the report added.
