CHINA'S first ever 'mobile phone stock market?has been launched in Shenzhen. The new service developed by China Construction Bank (CCB) will provide investors a new trading channel, according to CCTV.com report yesterday.

The service is an expansion of CCB's mobile bank. Based on Wireless Access Protocol, or WAP platform, the mobile stock market allows users to access ordinary services including account inquiry, capital transfer, remittance and payment. Users can also receive live information about share prices and charts. Meanwhile, experts say the mobile stock market service has better security protection compared with the online service on computers.
