- Datang, Yangtze Power in share-sale talks

DATANG Mobile Communications Equipment Co., which led the development of China's third-generation mobile technology, said yesterday it is in talks to sell shares to China Yangtze Power Co. and two local insurers.
The local insurers are China Life Insurance Co. and Ping An Insurance (Group) Co. of China Ltd., Datang Mobile chief executive Tang Ru'an said. Tang declined to comment on the status of the talks, or provide further details n the size of the stakes.
