CHINA Mobile Ltd., the country's largest mobile carrier by users, said Thursday it hasn't yet submitted an application to list yuan-denominated A shares on the mainland.
China Mobile wants to list on the mainland's domestic market, but doesn't have a timetable for such a move, said Rainie Lei, the company's corporate communications manager. Lei's remarks come after Fan Fuchun, a vice chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, said earlier Thursday he hopes China Mobile will be able to list shares on the mainland this year.
