BARCLAYS PLC has signed an agreement to take a 19.9 percent stake in New China Trust & Investment Co., the Securities Times reported yesterday, citing unnamed company officials in charge of negotiations.
The two companies started talks last year over the stake in the Chinese trust company, said the newspaper, which didn't give financial details.
