Chinese shares closed higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index closing up at4,110.38 points, rising 0.94 percent or 38.16 points from the previous close.
The index, which tracks both yuan-denominated A shares and hard-currency B shares traded on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, closed at 4,072.22 points on Monday.
