- ST stocks urged to issue risk reports

THE Shanghai Stock Exchange has required listed companies labeled as special treatment (ST), or firms with two straight years of losses, to warn investors of investment risks once every two weeks, domestic media reported yesterday.
The companies should reveal information on stock transfers, non-public offerings, debt restructuring, business reorganization and capital flows. 'The move shows that the regulator is concerned about the speculative trading in ST shares recently,'said Chen Huiqin at Huatai Securities.
