MAJOR domestic brokerage Guotai Junan Securities Co. has appointed China Galaxy Securities as adviser for its planned initial public offering (IPO), the Shanghai-based firm said in a statement yesterday.
No further details were provided. Earlier, the China Securities Journal quoted Guotai Junan vice president He Wei as saying that the company is planning a domestic listing in the first half of 2008.
