- Sichuan Expressway plans A-share IPO

TOLL-ROAD operator Sichuan Expressway Co. is planning an initial public offering (IPO) on the Shanghai Stock Exchange by the first quarter of next year, people familiar with the matter said yesterday.
'The company expects to list on the mainland as early as January if the approval procedure goes smoothly,'they said. They didn't say how much the company plans to raise from the share sale. Sichuan Expressway already has H shares listed in Hong Kong.
