- Chinese share prices close higher

BEIJING, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- Chinese share prices closed 1.48 percent higher Monday, partially regaining losses of the previous trading day.
The key Shanghai Composite Index, which covers A and B shares traded on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, closed at 5,355.29 points, up 78.11 points, or 1.48 percent, on a turnover of 154.6 billion yuan (20.34 billion U.S. dollars).
The Shenzhen Component Index was up 244.38 points, or 1.38 percent to close at 17,918.48 points on a transaction volume of 84.24 billion yuan.
