- Nokia Siemens Networks wins rail order

TELECOM infrastructure firm Nokia Siemens Networks said yesterday it had won a deal to provide a mobile network for a high-speed railway line in China.
The company said in a statement the order would cover the passenger railway line between Wuhan and Guangzhou, which it said was the world's longest high-speed railway project. Nokia Siemens Networks will provide base stations and a core network as well as systems for communications in tunnels on the line.
