- ZTE sets up Europe's first 3G network

SHENZHEN-BASED ZTE Corp., China's leading telecommunication equipment maker, has put its CDMA20001xEV－DORev.A network into commercial operation in the Czech Republic, the first commercial 3G network in Europe.
Privately run ZTE's CDMA (code division multiple access) products have entered networks run by more than 100 operators in more than 60 countries. It has also established more than 50 CDMA20001xEV－DO commercial and trial stations in countries and regions such as the Philippines, Vietnam, Norway and Mongolia.
