- Tibet economy on fastest track in 10 years

A tourist, led by a local guide, visits Lhasa Railway Station on Tuesday. The total industrial output value of the Tibet Autonomous Region hit 14.06 billion yuan (US$1.86 billion) in the first half of 2007, up 14.7 percent compared with the same period last year and the biggest jump in 10 years.
