A train from Beijing arrives in the outskirts of Lhasa, Tibet on Saturday. China's US$4.2 billion railway line linking the Himalayan region with the rest of China is expected to double tourism revenue in Tibet by 2010 and cut transport costs for goods by 75 percent.
