- Post-holiday package tour rates drop

PRICES for package tours dropped only days after the National Day holiday ended, a Shenzhen Special Zone Daily report said Tuesday.
Sources from several tourist agencies said prices for certain packages had dropped by up to 2,000 yuan, with a maximum price cut of 50 percent. The reduction is attributed to bigger discounts in air tickets and hotel rooms after the holiday peak.
