- Macao's unemployment rate remains flat

Macao saw an unemployment rate of 3. 2 percent from March to May, flat over the previous term which was from February to April, according to official statistics issued on Thursday.
The figures from the government-run Statistics and Census Service (SCS) showed that the city's total labor force was estimated at 301,000 during the period from March to May.
Some 600 of the unemployment population were searching for their first job during the period, representing 6.6 percent of the total unemployed, the figures showed.
The city has a population of 500,000.
